Best cakes in Toronto. But if you are a visible minority, the service is very poor as they will serve anyone but you first. They are not rude, but you can tell that you are not entirely welcome.
Having had the best cakes in Vienna and all around Germany and other Euopean countries, I must say that Amadeus cakes are just as good or even better (lighter and less sweet).
Their apple danish is the best I have ever eaten.
I have shopped at Amadeus for for at least 10 years and have watched the business grow.
As for service, it is very good too. This store is very busy on the weekends and people of all ethnic origins shop there for these delicious cakes.

they do have a good variety of european cakes..but if you start going there so often you can take easily a burned cake in the box. it happened to me with my favourite lemon pie..and I do agree with the ones who talks about the service to visible minorty..I add to it this you need to look ''chicky biki'' because they don't remember faces although you buy a tart every single week....I have seen different ways of behavouir depending on what i was wearing on the day..stupid but it is true.
the best cakes in Canada
I love there stuff always so fresh and so yum!
Love the cakes there! They have outstanding cakes with acceptable prices!
The best cake ever in town. king noir is the best
Excellent cakes, however bit of expensive...
The desserts are great, never had a problem with service or seen anyone else treated bad, and for the previous comment on visible minority, what would that be in Toronto? White males?
We had a very bad experience with a cake for my daughter’s But Mitzvah. I’ve ordered Mont Blank cake and asked my friend to pick it up.
It was absolutely different cake, with poor decoration. Never, never I am coming back to this store again. And tell my friends to avoid buying something in this place
It's spelled Mont Blanc and I think maybe it was just a bad day but usually they are very on top of their work from my experience because the prince noir I once had was so nice and decorated fairly well. In addition, I loved my experience at amadeus and the workers there were very pleasant. I never expected asian girls to be working there because it's a jewish area but the one asian girl was very polite and offered a mozart cake which tasted delicious.
